Welcome to the TMHHSN website. Here you will find an easy way to access the Toronto Mental Health housing registry system.
Our Mission:
The Toronto Mental Health Housing and Support Network seeks to streamline access to supportive housing in the GTA; develop mechanisms to enhance existing partnerships and create new partners; improve access to housing and housing supports for consumer survivors and ensure a common database that would assist in the development of plans that would increase capacity where there are gaps.
Our Vision:
Since 2000, the members of the Toronto Mental Health Housing and Support Network have envisioned a coordinated access system to housing. The Unit Registry is viewed as a step toward that goal. The Unit Registry will provide information on the availability of supportive housing services - the consumer will be able to see where there are housing vacancies within the network and if the housing "type" fits their needs; facilitate referrals through the description of key requirements for applicants; be accessible to participating mental health supportive housing providers and specified referral sources; be web-based, sit on a secure server and be updated in real-time.
Currently, the Housing Unit Registry is an internal database for housing providers. We hope to open this system up to consumers and referral sources in the near future.
